A letter from the Chairperson
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Hamdard University Hospital. Here you will discover what Hamdard Pakistan has been offering in healthcare since its inception in 1948 — almost as old as Pakistan itself.
In 1948, my beloved father, Hakim Mohammed Said, leaving Hamdard India, founded Hamdard Pakistan. From two rented rooms of free Unani practice grew Hamdard Laboratories, nationwide educational institutions, and a lasting sense of service to humanity.
Since my father’s assassination in 1998, I have been doing my best to carry forward his legacy and mission. May Allah continue to give me the strength to do so.
